The wounded PAF Group Captain was rushed to Pakistan Air Force Hospital Unit-II, where he later succumbed to his injuries, while authorities began efforts to identify those involved in the shooting. That version, however, is now being challenged by the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which alleges that the officer’s killing was a planned operation rather than a chance encounter at Shaheen Chowk.
