Relentless monsoon rains have brought parts of Gujarat’s Amreli district to a standstill, leaving villages submerged, hundreds of families displaced and thousands struggling with flooded homes, power cuts and dwindling access to food and drinking water. In village after village, floodwaters have entered homes, destroying household belongings and forcing families to move whatever they could to higher ground.
