Step 1: Registration
Following the announcement of the NEET results, the counselling process begins with the important step of registration on the official portals for the All India Quota and state quotas. This step should not be missed at any cost, or you will miss out on the counselling process.
Step 2: Understanding your Quotas
The most important point of differentiation between the All India Quota (15%) and state quotas (85%) should be understood by students, as the former gives them an opportunity to study in colleges across India, while the latter allows them to study in colleges within their domicile state.
Step 3: Choice filling strategy
This is where making the right choices is very important. Mention the colleges and courses according to your rank, cut-offs, and preferences. Remember to list your choices in order of priority, placing your dream colleges first, followed by the safer options.
