Gold Rate Today (July 4, 2026): Gold prices in India continued to hover near record levels on July 4, 2026, even as futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) experienced a marginal decline. In the national capital, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,47,500 per 10 grams (inclusive of taxes), while MCX gold futures slipped by Rs 13, or 0.01 per cent, to Rs 1,47,365 per 10 grams during the morning session. Meanwhile, the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) listed the closing price of 24-carat (999 purity) gold at Rs 1,46,344 per 10 grams on Friday. Since bullion markets remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays, these rates will continue to apply over the weekend.
