“Today, the floodwaters swept away the iron bridge in our village. Heavy water flow has been coming down from Arunachal Pradesh since around 11:00 am. We never expected the bridge to be washed away, but the water level suddenly rose around 11:30 am, and the Kemi River is now overflowing,” a local resident said.
