The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls began in Delhi on Tuesday (June 30), marking a significant initiative aimed at updating the voter registry across all 70 Assembly segments. More than 13,000 booth-level officers (BLOs) began a month-long door-to-door verification exercise to distribute enumeration forms to eligible voters. As of 6 PM today, officials reported the distribution of 168,291 forms, with 7,605 already digitised. This verification drive will continue until July 29, 2026.
