Trump Fumes Over SCOTUS Birthright Citizenship Ruling. Can He Still End It?

The Supreme Court earlier this week struck down Trump’s executive order that sought to deny automatic citizenship to children born in the United States if their parents were in the country illegally or temporarily. Chief Justice John Roberts, writing for the majority, reaffirmed that under the 14th Amendment, children born on U.S. soil are citizens at birth, citing longstanding precedent from United States v. Wong Kim Ark.
