After Karnataka, another Indian state that has been witnessing an increased number of violent cases over spoken language is Maharashtra. In the last few months, several concerning instances have come forward, which showed natives losing temper over migrants speaking languages other than Marathi. Adding to the list, another incident recently came forward, which ended up sparking yet another language debate. A video was shared online, which showed a man arguing and shouting at another man on the Mumbai Local Train over his spoken language.
