A reported bomb threat prompted heightened security measures at Kirtland Air Force Base (AFB) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Thursday, temporarily placing much of the installation under a shelter-in-place order before authorities gradually lifted restrictions. According to emergency notifications circulated across the base, the shelter-in-place order has now been lifted for most personnel.
