The pan-India period action drama is set in 19th-century colonial India and is reportedly inspired by real historical events from the Rayalaseema region between 1854 and 1878. The film stars Rashmika Mandanna alongside Vijay, with Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo, widely known for The Mummy franchise, reportedly playing the British antagonist. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers with music by Ajay-Atul, Ranabaali is set for a worldwide release on September 11, 2026.
