Main Vaapas Aaunga is written and directed by Imtiaz Ali and features an ensemble cast led by Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari and Vedang Raina. The film tells the emotional story of Ishar Singh Grewal, a 95-year-old man played by Naseeruddin Shah, who wishes to travel to Pakistan as his health deteriorates. As his grandson Nirvair, played by Diljit Dosanjh, returns from the United Kingdom to spend time with him, he gradually discovers that his grandfather is seeking closure for unresolved memories from pre-Partition India.
