In one case, a former professional MMA fighter helped restrain a passenger on a Frontier Airlines flight after the individual allegedly attempted to open an exit door mid-flight. The aircraft, traveling from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Chicago, was diverted to Miami following what the Federal Aviation Administration described as a “passenger disturbance.”
