The US government has finally answered why it ordered Anthropic to suspend access to its latest powerful AI models, Fable 5 and Mythos 5, around the world. According to Reuters, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has disclosed that the action was taken because the officials feature the AI systems could be used by military or intelligence agencies in Russia, China and other countries considered security risks.
