Police said he was managing traffic on the carriageway from Shanti Van towards Chandgi Ram Akhara when a scooter carrying three persons hit him from the Hanuman Mandir side. The impact caused him to fall onto the road, after which a passing goods carrier ran over him, leaving him critically injured.
