Taking to her X (formerly Twitter), Richa Chadha shared her review of Raakh. She praised the series for its empathy and sensitivity, saying it was refreshing to see victims portrayed as “human beings, not just statistics.”
She noted that the show “mourned rape, and that too with deep intimacy,” a quality she feels is rarely seen on screen today. Commending Ali Fazal‘s performance, Chadha said his character’s motivation is “justice, not revenge, which is so refreshing.” She also lauded Sonali Bendre, Amir Basheer, and the young cast, calling the newcomers and child actors “revelations,” while congratulating the creators and Prime Video for backing what she described as a “gem.”
