Ahead of India’s first-ever Junior Pickleball Championship in Ahmedabad, starting on June 12, the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA), the governing body for the sport in the country, has taken a bold step to ensure that the growing aspirations of Indian youngsters to play pickleball do not become a burden on their parents, while also ensuring that the future of Indian pickleball remains in safe hands – not on ‘makeshift’ facilities.
