At least 18 police personnel and one civilian were injured in late night clashes in Pune’s Pimpri Chinchwad during a late night demolition drive carried out by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. According to officials, a total of 10 structures were demolished as part of the drive, including five mosques and five temples that were allegedly constructed without the required permissions.
