Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed grief over the passing of legendary filmmaker and Padma Shri awardee Bharathiraja, calling it an irreplaceable loss to the Indian film industry. He said Bharathiraja’s films earned admiration not only from Tamil audiences but also from audience of Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada cinema. He also mentioned acclaimed films like Aaraadhana, made with his brother Megastar Chiranjeevi, and Seethakoka Chiluka, which received national recognition. Describing Bharathiraja as a filmmaker who beautifully portrayed rural life and human relationships, he extended condolences to the family and fans, stating that his legacy will be remembered forever.
