Mirra Andreeva ended Maja Chwalinska’s dream run at the French Open 2026, defeating her in the final to claim her maiden Grand Slam title. Chwalińska had arrived in Paris as a qualifier and stunned the tennis world with a series of brilliant performances en route to the championship match. Andreeva, meanwhile, continued her rapid rise in the sport, capping off a brilliant tournament with a composed display on the biggest stage. The final wasn’t competitive as Andrerva steamrolled Chwalinska, winning the match 6-3, 6-2, but Maja can still hold her head high and take home life-changing money.
Before the tournament, Chwalinska had earned $864,030 (8.20 crore approx) in career prize money; however, she earned more than her lifetime earnings at the French Open alone.

Thus, champion Mirra Andreeva will take home €2.8 million, which is approximately $3.28 million (₹27.7 crore), while Maja Chwalinska will earn €1.4 million, roughly $1.64 million (₹13.9 crore).
