The Indian cricket team suffered a minor setback ahead of their departure to Japan for the Asian Games 2026 as several players received wrong-sized kits for the marquee event. After an exchange between the BCCI and JSW Inspire, the kit supplier associated with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), most of the players received their kits; however, some members of the squad are still awaiting the correct jersey.
