NTA constituted a committee to examine the complaints received from candidates regarding the UGC-NET June 2026 examination. The committee identified several issues in the question papers, including factual, typographical, spelling and translation errors, incorrectly spelled names of prominent scholars, garbled or incorrect book titles, and errors in the wording of questions. It concluded that these issues could affect the fairness and accuracy of the examination.
