The portrait was seen in the newly renovated office during a press conference on Tuesday. Shan-e-Hind, of the Samajwadi Party, had earlier said that she would put up a portrait of Tipu Sultan after the renovation of her office. On Tuesday, she reiterated her position, saying that Tipu Sultan had sacrificed his life for the country and therefore his portrait had been placed in the office.
