An Indonesian Air Force Sukhoi Su-30MK2 fighter jet overran the runway at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar on Monday, August 24, prompting the temporary closure of one runway, officials said. The incident occurred at around 11 am local time as the aircraft left Runway 13 and came to a stop in a grassy area near the base perimeter.
