While earlier reports attributed the actor’s departure to differences over working hours and remuneration, a new report claims there was a more fundamental reason behind her decision. Apparently, Deepika never seriously considered Spirit because she was not given a full narration of the film. The actor also had no inclination to collaborate with Vanga, citing what is described as the filmmaker’s ‘misogynistic nature’.
