The unit, designated the 3rd Battalion of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, will take part in the Saber Junction exercise at Hohenfels, Germany, during August and September. An Army official told The Wall Street Journal that the battalion would then present its findings to help shape future force design and experimentation.
