Maruti Suzuki has shipped 2 lakh units of the Fronx from India in under 38 months with the latest export milestone reached in July 2026. The compact SUV began its overseas journey in June 2023 and has since expanded into nearly 90 countries including Japan. Interestingly, the pace picked up considerably after the first 1 lakh units. Fronx took less than 25 months to reach that figure but the next 1 lakh exports came in roughly 13 months. For Indian manufacturing, the numbers offer a clear picture of how quickly one locally produced model has built an overseas footprint. The Fronx is manufactured at Maruti Suzuki’s Hansalpur facility in Gujarat.
