The film saw better numbers on Saturday before witnessing a drop on Sunday. On Day 2, it recorded a massive growth of almost 141 per cent and brought in Rs 12.65 crore. However, Batwara 1947 could not keep up the pace on Day 3, bringing in Rs 7.25 crore. Thus, the opening weekend total stands at an underwhelming Rs 25.15 crore.
