As India celebrated its 80th Independence Day on Saturday, an international survey covering multiple countries revealed how they view New Delhi. The survey by Pew Research Center of the 36 countries revealed that India is viewed more positively than negatively across most. The survey, conducted between February and May among more than 42,000 people, found that a median of 45% of respondents had a favourable view of India, compared with 41% who viewed it unfavourably.
