Speaking about the younger generation, Sarma also rejected the tendency to categorise children through Western generational labels such as Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha. “I don’t believe in Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha, it’s a European culture. They are not Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha, they are like my son and daughter,” he said.
