FlightAware data showed that 1,990 flights within, into or out of the US were cancelled on Friday. Major airports in the Northeast bore much of the impact, with JFK, LaGuardia, Reagan National, Newark Liberty, Boston Logan and Philadelphia International Airport each reporting at least 200 cancellations.
