FIFA President Gianni Infantino finds himself in a major controversy after a report revealed that his alleged lover was paid a six-figure sum by UEFA when he was its general secretary. According to a report in the Telegraph, the woman was promoted by UEFA during her relationship with Infantino, getting a 30 per cent pay rise and a salary of around £147,000. And after she left, UEFA reportedly paid for her to complete her MBA at a business school. UEFA, in a statement on Friday, confirmed that the payment has been made, admitting that they are aware that the woman was in a relationship with Infantino.
