The Indian boxers shone at the Commonwealth Games and won 10 medals. The Indian boxers won seven gold and three silver medals. Preeti Pawar won the first gold for India at the quadrennial event. Jasmine Lamboria also won a gold. Sakshi, Priya Ghangas, Arundhati Chaudhary, Sachin Siwach and Ankush Panghal won the next five golds for India. Jadumani Singh, Lovlina Borgohain and Narender Berwal won the silver medals for India.
