After strong statements against Infantino ever since the report of FIFA’s plan to sell a stake in the World Cup came out, a report by The Guardian has revealed that UEFA has now questioned the $20 billion valuation, which was announced as per FIFA’s Forward Enterprise plan, which meant a 21% stake in the organization’s operational and event commercial rights. Interestingly, Joshua Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’s brother’s company Thrive Capital, was set to purchase the rights, which would have seen them invest $4.2 billion (£3.1 billion).
