Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to use his Independence Day address to the nation to directly speak to India’s youth and outline the steps being taken for their future.
“We request the Prime Minister to address the youth this Independence Day and tell them what steps are being taken for them,” Dipke said in his appeal, ahead of Independence Day.
The call comes ahead of the Prime Minister’s traditional I-Day address from the Red Fort, where he is expected to outline the government’s priorities and achievements while addressing key issues concerning the country.
Dipke Launches Nationwide Campaign
Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday announced a nationwide public outreach campaign, ‘Kya Bolti Public’, saying the initiative is aimed at understanding the issues faced by people across the country.
Launching the campaign, Dipke said its first priority would be education, arguing that rising school, college and coaching fees have made quality education increasingly unaffordable for many families.
“Education reform will be our first issue that we are going to take up. We believe education has become unaffordable in the country. Annual fees are in the range of ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh for Class 1, over and above the donation money,” he said.
CJP Announces National Working Committee
CJP on Thursday formally announced the names of members of its National Working Committee, marking another organisational step by the political outfit.
The party announced its national-level team as it seeks to strengthen its organisational structure and expand its activities following its recent public campaigns. The newly constituted National Working Committee will be responsible for overseeing the party’s organisational functioning and coordinating its activities at the national level.
