Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Thursday spoke to the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, over the phone as part of the government’s efforts to break the deadlock and appealed to him to allow the House to function, stressing that the ongoing legislative business is important, particularly in view of the proposed Women’s Reservation Bill, sources reported.
