The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday (August 5) sought a response from the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) on a plea challenging allegedly incorrect questions asked in the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) English recruitment examination, as reported by ANI.
While hearing the case, the single-judge Bench of Justice Siddharth Nandan instructed the commission to file a written affidavit specifying the decision it intends to undertake concerning the conflicting questions within three weeks.
In compliance with the court’s directive, the Commission’s Secretary and Controller of Examinations appeared before the Bench during the hearing.
The High Court further asked the Commission to respond to the remaining eight disputed questions to the appellant’s counsel before August 17. This will enable them to file detailed grievances regarding those questions.
The plea has been filed by Aditya Kumar Singh along with 17 other candidates, challenging a total of 41 questions asked in the TGT English recruitment examination.
