Apple has also requested expedited discovery, seeking internal documents and depositions from former Apple executives Chang Liu and Tang Yew Tan, OpenAI employee Yu-Ting Peng, another unnamed former Apple employee now working at OpenAI, as well as representatives from OpenAI and io Products. In the court filing, the Cupertino-based tech giant argued that “Apple will be irreparably harmed absent a preliminary injunction.”
