According to IANS, the Punjab Police confirmed that the voice in the threat audio sent to Aamir matched that of Aarzoo. The Mumbai Police further added that the threat was circulated using a Sweden-based VPN and Tor browser. Mumbai Crime Branch, along with Cyber Cell, and other agencies, are investigating the case. Amid this, security at Aamir’s residence in Mumbai has been tightened.
