Harshita Jakhar created history and etched her name in record books by becoming the first-ever Indian to feature in the Tour de France Femmes 2026. The Tour de France Femmes is a yearly women’s cycling race. This year, it started on August 1 and will end on August 9. Harshita was among the cyclists who were selected for the UCI World Cycling Talent Programme. Cyclists from Afghanistan, Algeria, Chile, Ethiopia, Namibia and Uganda were part of Harshita’s group. They completed a 4.5km neutralised ride.
