Padel, a fast-growing doubles sport which uses elements of squash and tennis, has witnessed a fourfold increase in infrastructure over the last three years, according to Indian Padel Federation (IPF) president Sneha Abraham Sehgal. In 2023, there were only 70, and now it has increased to more than 300, which reflects the sport’s rapid rise in urban centres and its expansion into newer markets.
