T Dilip’s stint as India’s fielding coach has come to an end following Subhadeep Ghosh’s appointment. The veteran coach will accompany the Shubman Gill-led Test team to Sri Lanka. Following Dilip’s release, Rohit Sharma became the first cricketer to react to the news and he shared a heartfelt post for the “legend”. Rohit and Dilip closely worked closely during Rohit’s stint as the captain. Interestingly, Rohit became India’s full-time captain just three months after Dilip joined the backroom staff. “You’re a legend Dilip garu. You created magic within the group and a behind the scenes workhorse. Best wishes ahead,” Rohit wrote for Dilip.
