Addressing the gathering, BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri alleged that “bad elements” had infiltrated the protests at Jantar Mantar, claiming they attacked police personnel, conspired to throw chilli powder at officers and deliberately attempted to create unrest. He also referred to slogans allegedly raised during the demonstrations, including chants in support of Umar Khalid, and argued that such incidents justified police action.
