Composed by AR Rahman and written by Irshad Kamil, Agar Tum Saath Ho, featured on Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, is a poignant ballad about loss and heartbreak. The music album is considered one of the best for the trio of Ali, Rahman and Kamil who often collaborate together. At the Filmfare Awards, Rahman and Alka Yagnik were nominated for Best Music Director and Best Female Playback Singer, respectively. But it was lyricist Irshad Kamil who took home the trophy for Best Lyricist for the Tamasha music album.
