The event was jointly organised by the Indian Army and the Government of Assam and was attended by Assam Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Biswajit Daimary, Finance Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah and Indian Oil Chairman Arvinder Singh Sahney. Senior military officers, including Lt Gen VM Bhuvana Krishnan, Lt Gen RP Kalita (Retd), Lt Gen Neeraj Shukla and Maj Gen Rohin Bawa were also present.
