The University of Delhi (DU) will close the correction window for admissions to its one-year postgraduate programmes for the 2026-27 academic session at 11:59 pm today, August 1st, 2026. Candidates who have completed both Phase I and Phase II of the registration process can make changes to their personal profile and academic details before the deadline.
This window is important for applicants to review and correct any errors in the information submitted earlier. During this period, candidates can edit details in their application forms as required. The university has advised applicants to regularly visit the official admission portal to stay updated on any further announcements or instructions related to the admission process.
Revised Seat Matrix and Programme Details
Along with the correction window update, the university has also released a revised seat matrix for its one-year postgraduate programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. The updated matrix outlines the availability of seats across various courses offered under the programme.
According to the revised seat distribution, several popular courses including:
- MA English
- MA Political Science
- MCom
- MSc Computer Science
- and MSc Mathematics
All have 49 seats in the unreserved category. In addition, seats are also allocated under reserved categories such as OBC (NCL), SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD, as per university norms.
The revised matrix further includes seat details for specialised programmes, which are:
- MSc Biomedical Sciences
- MA Applied Psychology
- MSc Environmental Science
- MSc Food and Nutrition
The university has clarified that the number of seats may vary, and supernumerary seats will be allotted in accordance with Delhi University guidelines.
