The assailants targeted two labourers at the brick kiln in the Kelam area of south Kashmir late on Friday evening. One of the injured, identified as Deepak Ratray, succumbed to his injuries before he could be taken to a hospital, while the other, Bopinder, was first taken to GMC Anantnag and later referred to SKIMS Hospital in Soura, where he died during treatment.
