The BCCI has broken its silence and confirmed that Ryan ten Doeschate and T Dilip didn’t resign from their positions in India’s backroom staff. Instead, their contracts ended in June and the board decided not to renew them, leading to their exit from the coaching staff. Speaking to PTI, BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia revealed that the board is in talks with few names and India will have a new coach for the Sri Lanka tour. India will land in Sri Lanka in the first week of August for the two-match Test series.
