Ajaya Babu missed out on winning gold and he clinched a silver medal in the men’s 79kg weightlifting. Sharmila Dhankar and Shilpa Shyla ended the country’s wait for a medal in para athletics. Sharmila clinched gold while Shilpa won the bronze medal in the Women’s shotput F57 event. After a dream day on Monday (July 27), India can win five more medals on the sixth day of the event.
